Corn Palak with Cheese

Last weekend, I made Corn - Palak Vegetable with Cheese.

The recipe for the same:

Ingredients:
1. Palak
2. Corn, i.e. I prefer the American or sweet corn as they call it
3. Onion
4. Tomato
5. Finely chopped Ginger
6. Beaten fresh cream
7. Cheese, grated
8. Turmeric powder
9. Red Chilly Powder
10. Hing (Asafoetida)
11. Oil
12. Salt to taste
13. A little Amul butter

Method:
1. Boil the palak and grind it roughly in a blender
2. Heat the amul butter and cook the corn in it
3. Make a paste of the onions and tomatoes, either together or separately 
4. Heat oil in a pan and put in the ginger, onion paste and fry till the onions become translucent or brown
5. Add the tomato paste
6. Add turmeric, red chilly and hing powder (as per taste)
7. cook this mixture till the oil separates
8. Add the palak and cook for abt 10 mins
9. Add the corn and cook for another 5 mins
10. You can add a little water, if you feel the vegetable is getting too thick for your taste
11. Fold in the whipped cream and cheese
12. Cook till the cheese melts.

Serve with more grated cheese on the top :)
